To vote absentee, you must:

Once your application is received, the Clerk's office will verify your eligibility and compare your signature on the application against the signature on your voter registration record before issuing a ballot.

Early Voting

Beginning in 2006, Early voting has allowed Illinois voters to vote weeks before Election Day without having a reason or excuse. In Cook County, early voters must vote in person (not by mail) at any of 44 designated Early Voting sites around Suburban Cook.
