Student Absentee Voter Program
If you attend a college and live away from home, you qualify to automatically receive an application for an absentee ballot before every election for the next two years.*
By taking part in the Student Absentee Voter Program, you avoid the need to request an application to apply for an absentee ballot for elections occuring for the next two years. The Clerk's office will automatically send the absentee application to you without waiting for a request.
To be placed on the schedule to receive absentee applications regularly, you must:
- Be a registered voter in your home town precinct
- Submit a completed Student Absentee Voter application (see options below).
The application can be sent to your school address or to your parent's address. If you move, notify the Clerk's office of your new address.
