A list of all candidates who filed papers with the Cook County Clerk's office to run in the Tuesday, February 05, 2008 Presidential Primary Election is available online. Click here to view the official list of eligible write-candidates. Write-in votes will not be counted unless they are cast for an eligible write-in candidate.

A complete list of all candidates running in the
Tuesday, November 04, 2008 Presidential General Election who will appear on suburban Cook County ballots will be available online. Candidates will also be searchable by office or district.
Voter guide
A virtual ballot, which allows registered voters to type their name and address to learn about the candidates appearing on their ballots, is available online at least one month before Election Day. Each candidate running for office in suburban Cook County is asked to submit a 400-word statement that highlights his or her background, qualifications and positions on the issues.
