Washington State residents can become registered voters in a few different ways. Check with a librarian if you need more information.

1) Online registration is done through the MyVote system which requires that residents have a current Washington State Driver's License or Washington State Identification Card. The MyVote System can also be used to update your voter information as well as find local polling locations, candidates, ballot measures, and elected officials. Name changes require filling out a new voter registration.

2) By mail. Simply use the forms and instructions below and mail the completed application to your county elections office. County office locations are included with each form. The forms are available in English, Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Korean, Laotian and Russian.

3) Walk into your local county elections office. The elections office is the best way to get help with making changes to your registraton without a driver's license or washington state id, or getting help after official deadlines.
